Risks & Policy Options for Bushfire and Extreme Heat

bush-fireThe NSW Office of Environment and Heritage required a review of bushfire and extreme heat risks, and the current treatment of these risks in government policy, to understand where there may be opportunities to mitigate these risks further. Edge Environment engaged with a wide group of stakeholders and undertook a thorough literature review to assess the current context in regards to these hazards. A report was produced synthesising the information and identifying the most effective policy options to increase the resilience of the built environment to extreme heat and bushfire.
