LGA0003_CMYKEdge Environment undertook a literature review, website review and online survey to consider the natural resource management (NRM) contribution of local governments in Queensland. The objective of the study was to determine what, if any, changes had occurred since amalgamation, and look at where LGAQ could best contribute.

The study reviewed previous literature on local government NRM, completed a review of 77 council websites and produced an online to survey to obtain detailed information about what councils are doing in the NRM space.

The study will be used to help drive investment in NRM across Queensland.
